How to Write a Chorus
A song without a chorus can hardly be called a song. This rather bad statement is my personal opinion so if you don't agree, that's okay. But I would like to start this lesson with this statement, not only to wake you up, but rather because it's one...

Lyza Wilson-The Voice of Diversity

Artist: Lyza Wilson
Title: Lyza Wilson
Genre: Rock-Pop
Label: Independent
Website: http://www.lyzawilson.com

Lyza Wilson has one hell of voice. She comes from the bloodline of pure singers that do not need any studio enhancements to embellish her sound. Her self-titled album sets the record straight for those that may have had any doubt she is the real deal. Trust me, she is. Just as her curly red locks may indicate…she is on fire.

This woman can do it all, she rocks with angst (I Don’t Care), gets into an 80’s British pop like rhythm and blues groove (Ancient History), and sounds like a soul sister (i.e. Aretha Franklin) on the live cut from the Lizard Lounge “Maybe I’m A Fool.”

I truly respect any vocalist that is not afraid to travel all over the musical map with their pipes, and this woman really covers some ground on

this album. This quality material should not be missed by anyone who appreciates good musicianship and honest hardworking vocals from the heart. Pick up the Lyza Wilson CD and get that shot in arm of musical energy you have been searching for.
